Greenpoint Lawn Care & Property Maintenance is a Powassan, Ontario-based residential and commercial lawn care provider serving North Bay, Callander, Astorville, Chisholm, and Corbeil. These 2026 Terms of Service govern your use of gplawncare.ca and any work performed by Greenpoint. By browsing the site, requesting an estimate, or accepting our services, you agree to the terms below covering quotes, scheduling, payment, cancellation, the satisfaction guarantee, and limits of liability.
1. Services
Greenpoint provides residential and commercial lawn care and property maintenance services across Powassan, North Bay, Astorville, Callander, Chisholm, Corbeil, and surrounding areas in Northern Ontario, including but not limited to:
- Lawn mowing (weekly or bi-weekly)
- Hedge trimming and shaping
- Tree pruning and cutting (small to mid-size trees)
- Spring and fall property cleanup
- Seeding and fertilizing
- Full property maintenance
- Commercial lawn care
2. Estimates and Quotes
All estimates are provided free of charge and are non-binding until both parties agree in writing (text message, email, or signed quote) to proceed. Estimates are typically valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing may change if site conditions differ materially from what was discussed during the estimate.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Service is scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will confirm your scheduled visits in advance by phone, email, or text. Recurring services (such as weekly mowing) are scheduled on a consistent weekday when possible, but we may adjust the schedule due to weather, equipment, or operational needs.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a trip charge equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.
Greenpoint reserves the right to reschedule visits due to weather, equipment failure, or unsafe site conditions. We will notify you as soon as possible if a reschedule is needed.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Common arrangements include:
- Pay-per-visit at the time of service or by invoice within 14 days
- Monthly billing for recurring services
- Project-based services may require a deposit before work begins
We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Returned payments may be subject to a $35 processing fee.
6. Property Access
You agree to provide reasonable access to your property on scheduled service days, including unlocking gates, restraining pets, and clearing the work area of personal items, toys, hoses, and pet waste. Greenpoint is not responsible for delays or incomplete work caused by access issues outside our control.
7. Weather and Site Conditions
Lawn care is weather-dependent. We may delay or reschedule visits due to rain, lightning, snow, frozen ground, or unsafe conditions. Recurring service schedules will adjust accordingly. We will keep you informed of any changes.
8. Insurance and Liability
Greenpoint maintains commercial general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request.
We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property, but we are not liable for:
- Damage to underground sprinklers, dog fences, cables, or wiring that is not clearly marked above ground
- Damage caused by hidden objects in turf such as rocks, wires, glass, or debris
- Damage to personal items left in the work area (toys, decorations, garden ornaments)
- Pre-existing lawn conditions, pest damage, or disease
- Acts of God, severe weather, or events outside our control
Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the work performed, contact us within 48 hours of the visit and we will return to make it right at no additional charge. If we cannot reasonably resolve the issue, we will refund the cost of that visit.
10. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate property information and access
- Inform us of any hidden hazards, irrigation lines, or sensitive areas
- Pay invoices on the agreed terms
- Communicate concerns promptly so we can resolve them
11. Termination
Either party may end recurring service at any time with reasonable notice. We typically request 7 days notice for end-of-season cancellation so we can adjust our route schedule. Outstanding balances are due upon termination.
12. Photography and Marketing
We may take before-and-after photos of completed work to use in our marketing (website, social media, advertising). These photos will not include identifying property details, faces, or personal information without your express consent. You may opt out by emailing info@gplawncare.ca.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
